The German foreign Ministry made a mistake with the date of the end of world war II

The German foreign Ministry tweeted the message with the wrong date of the end of world war II.

“Seventy-one years ago today, ended the Second world war. Europe was in ruins,” reads the statement of the German Department.

However, the date of the end of the Second world war is considered not may 8 and September 2, 1945 — the day of the signing of the surrender of Germany’s ally in the “axis” – Japan.
