British sociological service YouGov has published a rating of the most respected people in the world. The Russian President was busy in it 6-e a place. This victory, though small – from a year earlier in the same list Vladimir Putin took 11 th place. This time it beat Microsoft founder bill gates, U.S. President Barack Obama, Chinese President XI Jinping and actor Jackie Chan. However, the head of Russia, according to respondents, more respected than the Dalai Lama, Prime Minister of India, Narendra modi, the founder of Facebook, mark Zuckerberg, the head of the Board of Directors of the Chinese Internet company Alibaba Jack MA and former captain of the England football team David Beckham. However, to trust such ratings should be with some caution. They are conducted mainly among Western Internet users. However, recall that last year, American magazine Time Vladimir Putin became the leader among the most influential people in the world. However, this year it ranked only 29th position. We should not forget that just two years ago Barack Obama was voted the worst US President since the Second world war.

To begin with, what is YouGov. It’s a British company that is engaged in market research since 2000. They are held in many countries. There is a Russian site, which, however, does not always work. However, as they say Internet users, this company, though, and is a British, to a large extent in their interviews focused on the Americans than for citizens of other States.
Perhaps that is why for the third year in a row the leader of the rating YouGov becomes the founder of Microsoft bill gates, and he is followed by President Barack Obama.
However, in the top of the ranking and also the Chinese President XI Jinping and actor Jackie Chan. The latter has dual citizenship — USA and Hong Kong. This confirms the fact that the Chinese in the United States like and extensively use the Internet. They constitute 22.4% of the Asian population of the United States, and their number is estimated at several million people (up to 2% of the population).
It is gratifying to observe that in this ranking are sympathetic to Vladimir Putin is becoming more and more (recall that the Russian-language website of the Agency works intermittently). Last year respondents to the Russian President awarded the 11th place, this year — already 6. This allowed him to circumvent the Dalai Lama, Prime Minister of India, Narendra modi, the founder of Facebook Mark Zuckerberg, Chinese businessman Jack MA and former England footballer David Beckham.
A similar breakthrough in the list that the British Agency was able to achieve only English theoretical physicist, popularizer of science Stephen Hawking, who ranked fifth, breaking at him with a tenth position.
However, serious about these ratings can only be a stretch. In 2015, Time magazine announced that the Russian President took the first place in the top 100 most influential people in the world. Voted for 6.9 percent of the readers Time. The same number of votes went to the South Korean pop singer CL from the group 2NE1 but she took second place. The five winners then included singers Lady Gaga (2.6 percent), Rihanna (1,9%) and Taylor swift (of 1.8%).
Unfortunately, in April of this year Vladimir Putin has moved in ranking for Time on the 29-th line.
First place in the ranking took the Time managing Director of the International monetary Fund, Christine Lagarde, Hollywood actor Leonardo DiCaprio, German Chancellor Angela Merkel and U.S. Secretary of state John Kerry.

However, this is unlikely to upset Vladimir Putin. And another YouGov rating. Last year Putin said that relates to all this indifferently. According to him, “the impact of the head of a state can be assessed primarily on the economic strength and defense of the state”.
Russia’s economy, though not booming, but yet fell into the abyss. In 2015, inflation in our country was 12.9%. This year is expected at 7.8%. Last year, Russia’s GDP decreased by 3.7%. This year’s decline is projected for no more than 1.5%. In General, it does not record, prices are rising every day, nevertheless, this statistic means much more than the various international rankings.
By the way, in Russia its position Putin is holding. So, the specialists of the Fund “Public opinion” conducted a survey and found out what are the merits of the President the President is most proud of the citizens of our country. The most popular answer — a military operation in Syria. In the second place the promotion of the interests of the country in the international arena, the third — efforts to develop the Crimea and its reunification with Russia. By the way, the approval rating of the head of state reached 89.9%. Previously, this figure was equal to 89,1%. Experts note that the growth of Putin’s rating is observed steadily since the coup in Ukraine.
How will decrease respect for Barack Obama after what will become of the economy of his country by year-end, we can only guess. The “shale gas revolution”, by which the United States were going to reduce oil imports to a minimum and to establish export failed. The international monetary Fund lowered its forecast for U.S. economic growth for 2016-2017. IMF speaks about the alleged decline of American manufacturing.
Here it is necessary to remember that in 2014 Barack Obama, according to a survey of public opinion among Americans, was awarded the title of “worst President of the USA after the Second world war. And no matter how hard the American leader to change the situation, his popularity among the population is falling rapidly. Bad legacy he leaves to his successor. Who will be Hillary Clinton or Donald trump is not yet known. But it’s nice to deal with them will not be exact.
ANECDOTE IN THE TOPIC:
(from the “MK” — this joke was invented about 20 years ago)
Looked kind of God to Earth and realized all the bad, wars, starving millions, constant tsunamis and earthquakes. So he decided to make the end of the world. Summoned the most at that time, influential people in the world — the Russian guarantor of the Constitution, Boris Yeltsin, U.S. President bill Clinton and Microsoft founder bill gates.
“Tomorrow will be the end of the world. Go and proclaim to all”.
Yeltsin appeal to the Russians:
“Fellow citizens, I have two news for you. Both are bad. First — end of the world tomorrow. Second, we have not completed economic reform.”
Clinton announces Americans:
“I have for you two news: good and bad. Good: there is a God. Bad: end of the world tomorrow”.
Gates collects online audience and says:
“I have two news: good and even better. First the good: there is a God. Now even better: tomorrow, Apple products will disappear forever world market”.Related posts:
