Poroshenko told the veterans that without Ukraine, the war would not be won

President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko at the meeting with veterans in Kiev said that without the participation of the Ukrainian military victory in world war II would not have been possible.

“If Russia would have won the war without Ukraine. Would not have won this war without the Ukrainians…”, he said.

“You have courageously passed a long and thorny roads to victory — through the fire fighting, suffering and death, through the bitterness of defeat and irreparable loss”, — quotes Poroshenko his press service.
