The British ship opened fire on the Spanish sailors in disputed Gibraltar


Spanish patrol boat nearly went to war, trying to prevent the us to dock nuclear submarine in Gibraltar. In response to this, aboard a British warship opened fire.

The incident occurred in mid-April, however it became known of it just now. According to the newspaper The Daily Mail, the Spanish boat Rio Cedena has twice blocked the path of the Florida strategic submarine, not allowing her to go to the pier.

British warship in response to these actions fired from the pistol in the direction of the Spanish sailors, and also sent to the aid of a submarine patrol vessel.

The incident caused considerable irritation among the British officials in Gibraltar. In particular, they accused Spain of contempt of their allies, reports The Sun.
