Curtis, Scaparrotti succeeded as commander of NATO forces in Europe, another General, Philip Breedlove, is known for his tough statements against Russia. New commander said that NATO now faces a “resurgent Russia, which seek to show themselves as a world power”. Among other problems for the Alliance, he called terrorism and migration crisis caused by the instability in North Africa and the middle East.
“To solve these problems, we must continue to maintain and improve our level of preparedness and our mobility to be able to join the fight now, if that doesn’t work, the policy of containment,” he said, Scaperotti the press service of the Pentagon.
