FSIN began collecting documents for the issuance of Savchenko to Ukraine


The press service of the Federal penitentiary service of Russia reported that the Agency began collecting the necessary documents for the transfer of convicted in Russia on the case about the murder of journalists Nadezhda Savchenko to the Ukrainian side.

The reason was the request of the Ministry of justice of Ukraine on the basis of the Convention on the transfer of sentenced persons from 21.03.1983.

Yet, the Federal penitentiary service collects documents, including the statement condemned the desire to further serve his sentence in state citizenship. Then they will be transferred to the Ministry of justice of the Russian Federation “for coordination of the transfer with the competent authority of Ukraine”.
