Tkachev has proposed to China the Russian wheat, rice and fresh water


The head of the Ministry of agriculture of the Russian Federation Alexander Tkachev at a meeting with Minister of agriculture of the PRC hanem Changfu said that Russia is ready to offer the project to transfer fresh water from the Altai region of Russia via Kazakhstan in the arid Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous region of China.

Also, says PRIME, Tkachev expressed the hope that the supply of Russian wheat to China will begin in the near future. According to him, all necessary documents on phytosanitary requirements for supplies of wheat, soybeans, rapeseed, maize and rice signed.
