The idea of a visa regime with Central Asia was supported by human rights activists

The initiative of introducing a visa regime with the countries of Central Asia, which is Monday, may 2, was made by first Deputy Chairman of the Federation Council Committee on defense and security Frants Klintsevich, long overdue, according to human rights activists. According to lawyer and human rights activist Oksana Mikhalkina, in addition to high-profile crimes such as the murder of the former head of the police Syzran and minor Muscovite death at the hands of ISIS recruited (banned in Russia organization) nanny, the people from the region committed plenty of other crimes that are not advertised.

– I fully support Klintsevich and believe that the proposed measure is long overdue. The situation of illegal migration from Central Asia reached its critical level, so the introduction of a visa regime – a necessary measure to deter crime. We must remember that the majority of immigrants from Central Asia are involved in jobs that do not require special knowledge – mainly at construction sites. Today in the conditions of crisis (which, according to the Minister of the economy, will not soon be over) many of the new comers or not paid at all or were on the street. The only way of existence for them – theft, robbery. By the way, by their activities, I know that crimes such as theft from houses, basically they make. However, try to gloss over. So I think that in light of today’s situation, the introduction of the visa regime, as well as the fingerprinting of foreigners, is necessary, – told “MK” mikhalkina. We will remind that in connection with a number of high-profile murders committed by immigrants from Central Asia first Deputy Chairman of the Federation Council Committee on defense and security Frants Klintsevich has suggested to introduce a visa regime. – There’s a limit. The brutal murder of the former head of the Syzran and his family are natives of republics of Central Asia is already over the edge. Besides, everyone’s memory of the terrible death of a child in Moscow at the hands of the crazy nanny from Uzbekistan, – said the Klintsevich reporters on Monday.

However, he noted that we are not talking about Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan, with which Russia has special economic relationship.

– Of course, there can be no question of any generalizations. Moreover, there can be no question of any separatist attempts to establish so-called justice in national relations that should be strictly prosecuted according to the law, — said the MP.

The reason for this statement was the arrest of three people from Azerbaijan, who are suspected in the brutal murder of the former police chief of Syzran Andrew Hosta and five of his family members on April 24. Earlier, in the beginning of March, Moscow was shocked the unprecedented murder of four girls, which was celebrated by the inhabitant of Uzbekistan, Gulchehra Bobokulov. The consequence does not exclude that Bobokulov was recruited by ISIS.
