Petrozavodsk businessman and politician Vasily Popov will not be able to leave Finland. This decision was made by the district court of North Karelia, reports “Interfax”.
Popov asked to travel to different countries for treatment and for family to return his passport. However, the County court decided not to modify the earlier imposed ban on travel. Thus, priests are still not allowed to leave mainland Finland.
In Russia it, besides business, was also engaged in political activities: head of the Karelian branch of party “the Apple”. The Russian human rights organization “memorial” has recognized Popov and his colleagues on the party “Yabloko” victims of political persecution.Related posts:
