Putin congratulated Orthodox Christians on Easter Sunday


The press-service of the Kremlin reported that Russian President Vladimir Putin sent a telegram of congratulations on the occasion of Orthodox Easter, reports TASS.

The President noted that this holiday evokes the warmest feelings in the hearts of millions of believers.

The President also noted the huge creative role of the Russian Orthodox Church in matters of education and charity, strengthening of moral foundations of society, the upbringing of the younger generation.
