Conclusion Gryzlov of the security Council in the Kremlin explained “Ukrainian Affairs”

The President’s press Secretary Dmitry Peskov called the reasons why Boris Gryzlov was excluded from the composition of the security Council of the Russian Federation. According to him, now the work Gryzlov is narrowly focused – policy focused on the Affairs of Donbass.

A Kremlin spokesman said that earlier Boris Gryzlov, “was a wider range of responsibilities”, implying its involvement in regular operational meetings of the security Council, now such necessity has disappeared.

“The fact that Gryzlov is now focused on Ukrainian Affairs. And now the sphere of his employment is actually a narrow, specialized orientation”, – quoted Peskov TASS.

Thus a press-Secretary stressed that the level of representation of Russia in the contact group on Ukraine is not reduced, but an exception Gryzlov of the security Council “does not mean” that direct contact with Russian President lost.

Peskov said that in the enlarged meetings of the security Council will now attend the commander-in-chief of the National guard Viktor Zolotov. “He will participate in his work, but will not be a party to the weekly operational meeting”, — said the representative of the Kremlin.

On Tuesday, President Vladimir Putin issued a decree expelled the Russian Federation from the security Council. He was a permanent member since 2004. In December 2015 Gryzlov was appointed Plenipotentiary representative of Russia in the contact group on Ukraine.

Sources in the security Council earlier reported that Gryzlov now aims to expand the international dialogue to resolve the situation in Donbass. This will require Gryzlov’s participation in the international venues in Paris, Berlin and other European capitals, RIA Novosti reported.
