Set a record non-stop flight on MiG-31


Pilots of the Central military district set a record non-stop flight on supersonic fighters-interceptors MiG-31BM.

“We make a nonstop flight of 7 hours 4 minutes, which is the longest for the entire 36-year history of exploitation of the MiG-31”, – said the pilot of one of planes, set a record, captain Vladimir Mixture.

As reported by the official representative of the CVO Colonel Yaroslav Roshchupkin, the achievement recorded under the March 4 joint tactical exercises of air force and air defense military district, during which crews completed the relocation of the Krasnoyarsk territory, in the Astrakhan region.
