RISS delegation will discuss in Armenia issues of Eurasian integration

YEREVAN, 5 APR — news, hamlet Matevosyan. The delegation of the Russian Institute for strategic studies (RISS) 5-9 April, will visit Armenia within the framework of the Eurasian forum, which will discuss issues of Eurasian integration, RIA Novosti press-Secretary of the Russian centre of science and culture in Yerevan, Armenia Liana Azoyan.

According to her, the delegation included the Deputy Director of the RISS — the head of the research Center of CIS countries, Professor Tamara Guzenkova, head of sector for Caucasian studies, associate Professor Artur Ataev, senior researcher of the sector for Caucasus studies of Constantine TASIC.

April the sixth conference of young scientists “Modern Eurasia in a variety of methodological approaches and research practices” organizers RISS and the Council of young Orientalists of the Institute of Oriental studies of the National Academy of Sciences of Armenia. The conference will be awarded cash prizes to the winners of the contest “Armenia and the Eurasian integration”, which was held RISS in 2015. Participants will receive special certificates.

On the seventh of April RISS together with the research center “Alternative” will hold a round table (situation analysis) on the problems of Eurasian integration.

The purpose of the event is to discuss the problems and prospects of the Eurasian economic Union, as well as the most effective forms of participation of Armenia in integration.

At the end of the visit on 8 April will be a meeting of the Eurasian expert club, which will sum up the visit of the RISS delegation to Armenia, plans of further work of the Russian and Armenian experts. There will also be a ceremony of inclusion the assistant Director RISS Tamara. Guzenkovoj in the number of honorary members of the club.

In the framework of the cultural program RISS delegation will visit the village of Areni, Jermuk and Yeghegnadzor, as well as the Noravank monastery.
