FSB announced the capture of Ukrainian spy, trained by the CIA

The FSB has reported on the detention of an employee of the Central apparatus of the security service of Ukraine. He was Lieutenant Colonel Yury Ivanchenko, who worked on the counterintelligence Department of the SBU. The FSB claim that he wanted to cooperate with Russian secret services as a fake whistleblower.

The FSB claim that he was also trained by the CIA. Ivanchenko came to Russia ostensibly to visit relatives — despite the fact that the staff of the Ukrainian secret service to travel to Russia is impossible. The Ministry reported that a Ukrainian spy was to convince the FSB of the need to cooperate with him, and then planned in Kiev to catch red-handed the employee of the FSB in the transmission of information.

As the plan is discovered before the damage was suffered, Ivanchenko will send to Ukraine and will close entry into Russia.
