Assad called the country, impeding settlement in Syria

Syria’s President Bashar al-Assad believes that the actions of Saudi Arabia, Turkey, the UK and France most of all hinder the settlement of the situation in the country. He said this in an interview with MIA “Russia today”.

The point is that they “bet on our defeat on the battlefield to impose their conditions on negotiations,” said Asad. As noted earlier, the Syrian leader sees the possibility of a political settlement in Syria with the military successes of Damascus and military support from Russia.
