Scientists were able to collect the tomatoes, peas, rye, radishes and watercress, which was a great success in comparison with the results of the first experiment conducted in 2015, when they did only a few individual plants. “In General, the biomass grown on the soil, simulating a Martian, did not differ significantly from the yield of potting soil that we used for control,” says researcher Dr. Wiger Wamelink (Wieger Wamelink)
