The inhabitants of the South-East Asian countries saw a total solar Eclipse

In Indonesia March 9, it was possible to observe the total solar Eclipse: at 3:41 Moscow time (7:16 local time), the Moon completely covered the Sun, according to NASA.

Best natural phenomenon was seen in the Indonesian town of Palu in the province of Central Sulawesi — where the full phase of the Eclipse lasted 2 minutes 50 seconds. And on the island of Belitung, located East of Sumatra, the local government staged a colorful show.

The Eclipse was observed by residents of Singapore. Partly it’s visible and in the far East of Russia — 16% the Sun was hidden behind the shadow of the moon on the southern Kuril Islands.

Partially solar Eclipse was visible in Australia, Hawaii, Alaska, and southern China. Residents of other parts of the world could watch the live broadcast on the websites of astronomical institutions.
