“Kasyanovskaya injection defeatism will kill Apple”

The proposal of “democratic community” about the unification of the parties PARNAS and Yabloko was supported by Mikhail Kasyanov, leader of the “Party of people’s freedom”. The response “Apple” is expected at the party Congress, which will take place on the weekend, but we can confidently predict that mergers and even blocking the two parties in the September elections to the state Duma will not happen.

Six months before the elections non-parliamentary parties have intensified – changing leaders, sought allies. Ratings almost even the most notable of smaller parties – and about half of the nine non-parliamentary, have the right to participate in elections – so far, so small that to get into the Duma they must work a miracle.

“The history of the attempts of absorption of the Yabloko liberals more than a dozen years”

But while that is at least miracles of ingenuity we see the repetition of old songs – especially the so-called liberal-democratic flank. It has two prominent parties – Yabloko and PARNAS. “Notable” in the first place in the attention they pay to media and social media in the polls, none of them gaining and one percent. That is the “Apple” that percentage is still there, and the Parnassus doesn’t even have one. Up to 5 percent barrier in the distance and some spells on cursed mode, Shadowgem all independent and freedom-loving and preventing “good people” to save the country, the lack of support among voters does not explain. And then removed from the sleeve of an old, but beloved by the idea of a split among “Democrats”. He, allegedly, one of the main reasons for their troubles – not the absence of support from the people, and the fact that they “are in two columns”.

Sing it from the beginning zero when SaloneSatellite themselves “Democrats” representatives of the comprador elite 90s began to lose not only their positions in the Executive, and representation in Parliament. In the 2003 elections to the state Duma did not get the PCA liberal nor democratic “Yabloko”, and after that was made a few attempts to combine the strengths of the two opposition representatives.

In this case, between “Apple” and liberals from the SPS, then the Right cause, and now Parnassus has, among others, and this fundamental difference – “the Apple” has never been in power. This is a classic opposition party – that is, its individual representatives could work and even now working in the government, but in General it is not responsible for what happened in the country in 90-e years. The liberal party, that is, the current PARNASSUS, is a pure product of Chubais and oligarchs, the direct heir of the “Democratic Russia” 1991, “demvybor” of 1993, the ATP and the Right cause. They have fundamentally different origins, and yet they persist in trying to cross. And do it liberals, hoping for the account of the company to increase its electoral support.

The history of attempts to absorb the Yabloko liberals more than a dozen years – the number of undertaken attempts it is difficult to count.

Head of the Department of General political science HSE Leonid Polyakov in comments the newspaper VIEW recalled that to enter into such a Union with Yabloko tried many of the party since the 90-ies, including the party deemed to be ideological or organizational predecessors of Parnassus. But every time such attempts did not lead to concrete results.

Recall that in 1993 the Republican party (the historical predecessor of the RPR-PARNAS) was part of the block “Yavlinsky-Boldyrev-Lukin”, on the basis of which was created by the party “Yabloko”. But in 1994, the way the Republicans and Yabloko dispersed. In 1996, Grigory Yavlinsky formulated the list of grievances that impede the cooperation with the party of Yegor Gaidar’s “Democratic choice of Russia”, answering thus to the appeals of the Union of Democrats and liberals into a single unit.

In the elections to the Moscow city Duma 2005 managed to make even some common lists that included candidates from Yabloko and the “Union of right forces”, but then it almost had no effect, reminiscent of Poles.

“This merger is constantly interfered with the personal factor. Apart from the fact that the Yabloko leader Georgy Yavlinsky, and no matter what role he plays: the President or not – remains the man personally owning this brand. For him it was unacceptable from the team young reformers Gaidar with Chubais, said the analyst. But in 2003, when these parties last went to the polls, it was a very tough personal competition between Nemtsov and Yavlinsky. But now Nemtsov is missing for obvious reasons. In this sense, the field is released”.

“It seems that in the Parnassus people are more pragmatic, considering the shape Kasyanov, looking for any Union with those who, in their opinion, meets the criteria of liberal-democratic orientation,” – says Polyakov.

This round started a month ago with a suggestion from Mikhail Kasyanov to create common lists for the elections to the state Duma, after which consultations began between the two parties, although the head of “Apple” Emilia Slabunov and declared that speech can go only about cooperation and coordination in the election campaign, but not on the common list. But attempts to push the “Apple” to the Union continued this Tuesday, a few days before the scheduled weekend for the next party Congress, in “Novaya Gazeta” published an appeal by two dozen representatives of the “democratic community” to the leaders of Yabloko and Parnas. Without tears it is impossible to read – the Motherland is threatened by a terrible threat:
