According to a widespread hypothesis, alcohol abuse people are vulnerable to stress, increased anxiety. In this way they relieve stress. However, the experience of Siberian researchers led to another, almost opposite conclusion: to alcohol are more attracted to those who are not aware of the alarm. As reported by “MK” at the Institute, were selected for the experiment laboratory rats of two different lines: aggressive, characterized by high levels of anxiety, and calm hand. I had to figure out what the representatives of the groups will take a greater interest in bottled in ethanol drinkers. During the first five days the solution of alcohol was two per cent in the next five or five percent, and the last ten percent. It was found that the aggressive animals drank more than two per cent solution, whereas the manual is more preferred to “kiss” to the Cup with a stronger solution of alcohol. The scientists then for a week have established the rat “dry” law, and then put the drinking bowl only with 10% alcohol in water. Finding a strong alcoholic drink again, hand the rats took him more than until canceled.

According to the researchers, under the influence of alcohol at hand animals began “anxiety-like” behavior, which became the reason of further craving for alcohol.
